Hubb's playing experience
Started playing rugby when my dad took me to Old Hales when I was 7 years old. The club and coaches helped me fall in love with the game. I went back to the club to play seniors and got two promotions in two seasons with a great bunch of men.
Played colts, winning the inaugural National Colts Cup, U21, winning the Worcester Floodlit Cup, and seniors. Had my first senior game in the old Cheltenham and Gloucester Cup v Bristol when they were in the Premiership
Played five seasons in the seniors including being part of the squad that beat Wasps in the quarter final of the Powergen Cup. A game that Rugby World Magazine put in their top 5 for all time upsets
Played two seasons at Stourbridge before going travelling to South Africa, Australia and New Zealand
Played England U18 Schools, England Colts and England Student U21s. This included a Grand Slam, tour to Argentina and unbeaten tour to Australia in 1997, with players including Jonny Wilkinson, Mike Tindell and Steve Borthwick to name a few.
Playing for Aston Old Eds was a great honour, as it is the club my grandad, uncles and brother all played for and my grandma and mum helped run
My school, teachers and team mates helped shape me into the person I am today. Great memories playing and captaining this brilliant school
I had three seasons at this great club with my final season captaining the first team
I played for Loughborough Students 1st XV in my final year at university. Reaching the final of BUSA played at Twickenham
English Universities Sport was an amazing experience and opportunity, picking up a triple crown along the way
I represented North Midlands RFU at every age group. Including captaining the colts to being National Colts Champions at Twickenham and winning the National Plate with the seniors at Twickenham
Playing touch for a few years I represented England Mens 35s at the European Championships 2018 in Nottingham. Having the honour of being Vice Captain in my first major touch tournament and winning gold was an amazing experience
